TO BE -> SIMPLE PAST

Were you in London last year?
Yes, I was in London.
Was it foggy?
Yes, it was a lot.
Was he ill last Sunday?
No, he wasn't. He was in the park.
Were they at home?
Yes, they were.
Many times, if you want to speak about a past time, you need to use to be in the simple past tense.
Now we are going to learn and practice it.
